Antonio Bruno Mantia, a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, died Saturday, June 28. He wsa 87.
Mr. Mantia was born June 8, 1921 in Portland and graduated from Benson High School.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1942 and served for three years during World War II.
In 1950 he married Dolores Sturdavant and owned and operated Tony Mantia Sanitary Service until retiring in 1987.

NEWBERG — Bernice Angela Sprogis, a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, died Tuesday, July 8 in a Beaverton Hospice home following an extended illness. She was 97.
Mrs. Sprogis was born in Jefferson, S.D., on March 16, 1911, to Charles and Emma Almo Rose Beauchemin. She was raised and educated in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada, and came to Oregon with her parents in 1928.

SHERWOOD — Catherine Maude Carr died Friday, July 11 at her home. She was 90 years old.

HILLSBORO — Eileen Marjorie Henry died Sunday, July 6 at her home. She was 93.
Mrs. Henry was born Sept. 14, 1914 in Bladen, Neb., to Stanley and Orise Hall. She was raised and received her education in North Platte, Neb., having graduated from St. Patrick Catholic High School in 1932.

MILWAUKIE — Jerry F. Kobelin, a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, died Saturday, June 28 in Clackamas. He was 73.

John Seeronen died Sunday, July 6. He was 29.
Mr. Seeronen was born July 21, 1978 in Portland and worked as a financial analyst for AT&T. He had earned a Bachelor’s in business from University of Oregon in 2001.
Survivors include parents John and Patricia Seeronen; brother Sean Seeronen and sisters Carrie Hart and Courtney Calvet.

BEAVERTON — Josephine Rosemary (Comby) McCusker, a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, died Thursday, June 26. She was 95.
Mrs. McCusker was born Oct. 27, 1912 in Dallas, Texas and married William McCusker in 1957. He predeceased Mrs. McCusker in death in 1998. She worked as a homemaker.

Mildred Flynn, a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, died Sunday, July 13 in Portland. She was 93.

TUALATIN — Richard Allen Wallace died Sunday, July 6 of cancer. He was 64.

BEAVERTON — Dr. Anthony Joseph Truszkowski, a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, died Tuesday, July 15 in Portland of natural causes. He was 75.
