Antonio Mantia

Antonio Bruno Mantia, a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, died Saturday, June 28. He wsa 87.
Mr. Mantia was born June 8, 1921 in Portland and graduated from Benson High School.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1942 and served for three years during World War II.
In 1950 he married Dolores Sturdavant and owned and operated Tony Mantia Sanitary Service until retiring in 1987.
He was a member of the American Legion and Sons of Italy Club.
His wife predeceased him in death in 2005.
Survivors include sons Charles Mantia, Mike Mantia and Tony Mantia; brother Rudy Mantia; sister Lillian Raschio; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Rosary and Funeral Mass were held at St. Ignatius. Remembrances may be made to St. Ignatius.
