SHERWOOD — Catherine Maude Carr died Friday, July 11 at her home. She was 90 years old.
Mrs. Carr was born to Danie and Kathleen Leary on Sept. 28, 1917, in Revelstoke, British Columbia. She moved to Portland as a child and attended St. Mary’s Academy. She married William Carr in 1942 and they lived in the San Francisco Bay area, retired in Port Angeles, Wash., and then came to Sherwood. She enjoyed making clocks, braided rugs, swimming and walking.
Her husband, two brothers and one sister preceded Mrs. Carr in death.
Survivors include sons Mike Carr, Paul Carr, Terry Carr and Dan Carr; daughter Pam Williams; brother Dan Leary; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Rosary and funeral service were July 16, 2008 at St. Francis Catholic Church.
