HILLSBORO — Eileen Marjorie Henry died Sunday, July 6 at her home. She was 93.
Mrs. Henry was born Sept. 14, 1914 in Bladen, Neb., to Stanley and Orise Hall. She was raised and received her education in North Platte, Neb., having graduated from St. Patrick Catholic High School in 1932.
She married Donald W. Henry Jr. in 1941 in Los Angeles. Her job during World War II was an office assistant position for Lockheed. Following marriage, the couple lived in Culver City, Calif., until 1953 when they moved to Tarzana, Calif., were they lived until 1979. During that time, Mrs. Henry worked as a city clerk in Hidden Hills. After retirement, the couple lived in Oroville, Calif., until her husband died in 2001. Mrs. Henry then moved to Hillsboro to be closer to her daughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister June Klaas.
Survivors include children; Richard Henry, Donald Henry , Deborah Criswell and Paul Henry; brother Bud Hall; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated July 17 at St. Matthew.
