MILWAUKIE — Jerry F. Kobelin, a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, died Saturday, June 28 in Clackamas. He was 73.
Mr. Kobelin was born July 31 in Billings, Mont., and grew up in Poulsbo, Wash., graduating from North Kitsap High School. He attended Bremerton Jr. College and University of Washington and obtained his law degree at Northwestern School at Lewis and Clark College. In 1959, he married Maryhelen Pauly and worked as an attorney until recently. He was active inthe church choir, a member of the Milwaukie Elks Lodge and an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife; son Tim Kobelin; daughter Susan Kobelin; mother Inez Kobelin; brothers Warren and Dennis Kobelin and two grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was held at Christ the King. Remembrances may be made to Portland Providence Medical Center Rehabilitation Program or Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother.
